About Us
Native Alliance Bangladesh is a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting the rights and well-being of Indigenous indigenous communities in Bangladesh. We focus on empowering individuals through advocacy, education, and support services in areas such as Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), mental health, digital safety, and legal protection.
As an unregistered organization operating in a challenging legal and social environment, we create safe spaces for indigenous LGBTQIA+ communities, provide counseling and healthcare, and build community capacity to challenge discrimination and stereotypes. Through research, community engagement, and policy advocacy, Native Alliance works to ensure equality, dignity, and inclusion for Indigenous LGBTQ+ people, amplifying their voices and promoting social change.
Mission:
To empower Indigenous LGBTQIA+ communities in Bangladesh by promoting equality, protecting rights, and providing essential support services. We work to ensure dignity, safety, and inclusion for all, with a focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), mental health, digital safety, and advocacy for policy change.
Vision:
A society where Indigenous and LGBTQ+ individuals live free from discrimination and violence, with equal access to opportunities, resources, and justice, and where their voices are recognized, respected, and celebrated.
